Lease Duration: 6 months to 12 months

Price Range: $300 – $500 per month

Studio space is available in the Farm House and can be used as private space for art production and private instruction. Ideal for artists, weavers, photographers, sculptors, poets, writers, graphic artists, crafters and general office space and other arts related uses.

Studios are located on the second floor and include 24-hour access, good light, free storage closest, slop sink, shared used of two bathrooms and shared use of the kitchen.  Leases include space, heat/AC, wireless internet, security system and parking.

No oil paints, or open flames.

Studio Details:

(Occupied) The spacious Northeast Studio is 12’8” x 15’4” corner room with 3 windows, one is a dormer. With generous light, it also has a full river view. Wide-planked floors. Storage closet is 55” x 34”.

(Occupied) The charming Southeast Studio is a 13’3” x 12’ 4” corner room, with 3 windows, one of which is a dormer. A wall of art display shelves, 7’ ceiling. Full river view, great light. Wide-planked floors. One closet 34” x 77” (deep).

(Occupied) The Southwest Studio is 11’ deep by 10’4” wide with 7’3’ ceiling, wide-plank floors. Large storage area: 4’2” deep, 10’4” wide. Through the window is an excellent view of 1760’s restored English barn, and antique Cow Barn.

(Occupied) With full southern exposure, and plenty of light, the South Studio of  12’ 6” x 14’ 7” and 8’ ceilings offers spacious working area for a committed artist. From the two windows is a view of the river, lawn and woods. Wide-planked floors. One closet 32” deep x 54”.

(Occupied) The North Studio with two windows is 12’ 10” by 9’ 8” with an 8’ ceiling, wide-plank floors. Included is a Walker Hanging System and two storage closets. View of the river, and antique-farm Wagon House.  Two closets 22” x 46” and 25” x 51” (shelves on each side).

Located on the grounds of the historic Kennedy Martin Stelle Farmstead, Farmstead Arts is a center for fine, performing and practical arts offering year-round programming of concerts, theater performances, art exhibitions and special events like barn dances and holiday boutiques.

Home to the Farmstead Arts Center, the Kennedy Martin Stelle Farmstead is named for three of its most prominent residents. 

Local, state, agricultural and revolutionary war history is highlighted in the Farmstead's buildings, prominent residents history, lectures, exhibits, and educational programs.The entire site is an ongoing restoration and preservation project.
