Farmstead Arts 2017 Young Artist Auditions
Farmstead Arts is pleased to announce the 2017 Young Artist Auditions for talented high school music students in New Jersey. Chosen candidates will be featured in concert at the Farmstead on Sunday, May 21st at 2:00 pm. The concert will be held in the intimate setting of our Farmhouse galleries and will be free and open to the public. Details and application below.
Audition Date: Saturday, March 25, 2017 from 2:00-5:00 pm
Location: Farmstead Arts Center, 450 King George Rd., Basking Ridge, NJ
Eligibility: New Jersey resident high school students ages 14 – 18, all instruments and voice types
Requirements: Candidates should prepare 5-7 minutes of standard classical repertoire
Accompanist: An accompanist will be provided or candidates may bring their own accompanist. There will be no rehearsal space available prior to the audition. Candidates must bring music for accompanist.
Entry Fee: $20 fee to be paid at the time of application. Click here to pay entry fee
Other Requirements: Candidate’s private studio teacher or school chorus/band director must sign application form, recommending the student for participation in audition
